3. What Kind of Personal Information Do We Collect?

Personal Information You Provide

When using the Site, and in filling out forms, purchasing products, providing comments, or contacting us, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, website address, mailing address, payment or credit card information. We use this information to deliver the product purchased, or information requested, to improve the performance and applicability of the Site, and to provide you with educational content, newsletters, promotions, and special offers.

Personal Information Automatically Collected

We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other analytics or advertising tag on the Site. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server records of requests made to the Site, which include your IP address, the pages requested, the approximate geographic region that address resolves to, and the browser and device type. Those records are kept by our host to run and secure the Site.

The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and browser, in the same way any request to any web server does. Google Fonts is the only third party involved in loading a page of this Site.

We collect this information for statistical purposes only and to improve the viewer experience.

4. What If the Personal Information We Have About You Is Incorrect or You Want to Update It?

If the Personal Information we have collected about you is incorrect or incomplete in any way, or you would like to update what we have, please contact Rhonda Austin at rhonda@brainbarrels.com. We will make the appropriate corrections when notified, as long as the corrections requested to be made are not incorrect or fraudulent in any way.

If you are just viewing the Site, you will not be required to provide personal information to browse.

The questionnaires do not send us anything. The Fill Finder Questionnaire, the Fill Finder for Kids, the Bottleneck Finder and the Individual Profile run entirely inside your own web browser. Your entries are held in your browser's local storage so that you can stop and come back, and they are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. They carry no name. You can erase them at any time with the tool's "Start over" control or by clearing your browser data.

Forms on the Site are handled by our website hosting provider's built-in form service, which receives and stores your submission on its servers on our behalf. This includes the email address you provide when joining our list.

If you become a client. Information you provide once you engage us for professional services is handled under the terms of your written client agreement and the professional and legal obligations that apply to those services. This Privacy Policy governs the Site. It does not govern client records, and nothing in it should be read as describing how professional service records are created, kept, released, or destroyed.
